May 2 was the first draw date for our weekly 50/50 toonie draw. This has proven to be a great fundraiser and a great form of publicity to have people support us and raise awareness about Cumberland County Hospice/Palliative Care Society. It is our goal of building a standalone residential hospice to provide compassionate care and comfort for our loved ones in the last weeks of their lives.
